Saturday 23rd May saw the start of the EMMA 2026 SQ Season.
We had 37 competition cars, 49 entries, descend on a quite industrial estate in Coventry, the Home to Pure Customs. This was a 25% increase from the previous year, here at Pure Customs and a 12% increase from Round 1 last year and included 8 first time entries. With a strong 7-man judge team to handle all the hard work that was to come. We had competitors at all levels with 14 at the Entry Level, 5 at the Skilled Level, 15 at the Master Level, 3 at the expert Level and 12 in Tunning.
The competition started early as it was a hot day and everyone want to get the work complete and get into the shade. The turnout was so good we were able to eat enough at Porky Blinders, the local food place, that 1/2 their lunchtime menu was sold out by around 12:30.
All the work was completed by around 3 PM when the presentation took place.
